Graphic DesignerSummaryResponsible for creating digital visual text and imagery concepts that inspire, inform, and captivate potential and existing Alphaland members.Exemption StatusExempt - Creative Professional ExemptionJob StatusFull-time, 40 to 50 hours a week, or more as neededSchedule: In office, generally Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM or 6PM (depends on workout) Schedule will need to be flexible to work some late nights and weekends based on business needs.Job LocationMissouri City, TX (Alphaland HQ)Reports ToMarketing Manager - AlphalandDirect ReportsNoneRequired EducationBachelor's degree in graphic design and/or equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceEssential Job DutiesResponsible for designing and creating all graphics to meet promotional needs including but not limited to, packaging, displays, logos, and digital collateral (such as banner ads, social media posts, and website graphics)Additional Job Duties Create new design artwork and concepts to support each Alphaland campaignCreate product imagery by editing, retouching, and mocking up designsCreate digital marketing materials including social media graphics, email marketing images, and digital ads and other assetsPrepare digital artwork files for productionCollaborate with Marketing Manager to brainstorm new ideas for facility, product and event campaignsAssist with photography shoots and product stylingOther job duties as assigned by managementRequired Skills / Experience Minimum of three (3) years of experience in graphic design, preferably focused on business-to-consumer goodsAt least three (3) or more years' experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and/or PhotoshopImpeccable design skills and a keen eye for current consumer trendsHigh attention to detail, with strong design skills including typography, composition, drawing/sketching, and digital designFunctional knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)Preferred Skills / Experience Ability to work on call and respond to ad campaign emergencies when necessaryPrevious experience in a clothing retail environmentTraits / Characteristics High initiative, autonomous, and self-governingStrong critical thinker & superb attention to detailFlexible, collaborative, & a team playerStrong critical thinker & superior analytical skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills with strong follow throughEntrepreneurial spirit & high integrity
