SUMMARY: The Instructional Designer plays a crucial in creating engaging and effective learning
experiences. This role will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement instructional materials and communications that enhance Team Member engagement and performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
Design and Develop Instructional Materials: Create engaging e-learning courses, instructor-led
training sessions, job aids, and assessments tailored to diverse learning needs.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Partner with SMEs and key stakeholders to
develop content, ensuring accuracy and relevance through regular review cycles.
System Administration: Oversee internal and external systems to ensure optimal functionality,
troubleshoot user issues and maintain an organized course library.
Manage Course Library: Maintain a comprehensive company-wide course library, including a
development calendar and a course review schedule.
Project Management: Successfully manage multiple projects concurrently, adhering to
established timelines and quality standards.
Provide Training Support: Address day-to-day inquiries related to required training programs,
ensuring learners have the support they need.
Contribute to Assigned Projects: Participate in various training initiatives as assigned, bringing
creativity and expertise to each project.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required
o Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Human Development, Organizational
Development, Instructional Design, Education, or related field
o 2+ years of experience in instructional design or related field
o Proficiency in e-learning development tools (ex- Articulate 360, Vyond, Wondershare,
Adobe, Audacity, Canva, Vimeo, etc.) & Learning Management Systems (LMS).
o Strong communication & collaboration skills
o Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement
o Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
o Bilingual: English/Spanish or English/Marshallese
o Ability to travel 1-2 times per year
