The ideal candidate is skilled, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work as part of a team. Responsibilities Prepare, modify, and maintain designs, drawings, and schematics for components and production. Perform simple to moderately complex drafting tasks using computer equipment. Work from sketches, notes, and verbal instructions. Use computer-aided design (CAD) systems to prepare drawings and output to CNC. Receive general guidance/supervision but normally work independently on mastered tasks. Produce comprehensive, quality drawings or technical documentation as required. Demonstrate proficiency using AutoCAD to accomplish drawing tasks. Perform individual and team quality checks on drawings or technical documentation. Exhibit professional behavior that promotes teamwork and enhances productivity in the workplace. Be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Qualifications Ability to work legally in the United States Currently working on getting Technical/Associates degree or Certificate in CAD design OR High School Diploma/GED and 1+ years of experience working in CAD. Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is mandatory. Good communication skills both verbal and written. Detail oriented and able to focus on repetitive tasks.
