General Description

An Instructional Designer is responsible for creating educational and developmental materials that effectively enhance the skills and knowledge of our team. You will apply educational theories, instructional strategies, and technology to design engaging learning experiences that align with our business goals.

Job Duties:

  • Assess the learning needs of the organization by identifying gaps in knowledge or skills.
  • Curriculum Design: Develop structured courses, workshops, or training programs, including their content, structure, and delivery methods.
  • Learning & Development: Develop employee programs on topics like leadership and compliance.
  • Content Creation: Design and create instructional materials such as lesson plans, e-learning modules, learning videos, job aids, and assessments.
  • Integration of Technology: Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and digital tools to facilitate courses, incorporating multimedia elements like videos, simulations, and interactive activities.
  • Evaluation and Feedback: Analyze the effectiveness of developmental programs through feedback, assessments, and learning analytics to continually improve future courses.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in instructional design with 7 or more years of experience in creating and applying engaging training materials.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms such as DDI and ADP.
  • Knowledge of learning theories (e.g., behaviorism, constructivism).
  • Proficiency in multimedia content creation and e-learning development.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines and collaborate with subject matter experts.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Training, Education, or a related field preferred.
