Job Description
INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER
As an Instructional Designer at Fullbay, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality learning experiences for our internal teams and customers. You’ll work closely with subject matter experts to create engaging content, such as training modules, e-learning courses, and instructional guides, that support employee development and customer success. This role involves using instructional design principles and multimedia tools to transform complex information into easy-to-understand materials. You’ll also support maintaining and updating existing learning resources to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design instructional materials for internal teams and customers, including e-learning modules, videos, graphics, webinars, and job aids following internal SOPs and Formatting Guidelines.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
- Apply instructional design best practices to create engaging, learner-focused materials.
- Continuously assess and improve learning materials based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Updating training content (Help & Training Articles and e-learning modules) to reflect new features and processes.
- Manage Fullbay Learn (Learning Management System), including uploading, testing, assigning, troubleshooting, and reporting on launched training materials for internal and external audiences.
- Follow Role Employee Checklist/SOPs, etc.
- Maintain project documentation and course folders.
- Adheres to all confidentiality and compliance regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education & Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Training Education, Communications, or equivalent work experience
- One to Two+ years’ work experience designing and developing web-based training for customers, preferably within a SaaS-based environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to simplify complex information and present it clearly.
- Knowledge of learning styles and how to build compelling video, text, and visual content.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- SaaS software experience
- Familiar with tools such as Zoom, LearnUpon (LMS), Articulate360 Suite, Articulate Rise, Creative Cloud, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, Monday
