Ellen Bruss Design is hiring: Senior Designer in Denver

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000

Senior Designer:

Conventional wisdom says a design company shouldn’t pigeon hole itself. That we should talk about everything we do. Branding. Packaging, Identities. Environmental. Websites.  We’ve done all of those things for some of the more iconic brands in Colorado. Hammond's Candies, Marczyk Fine Foods, Belmar and MCA Denver. But first and foremost, we believe in Strategic Design. It’s what we do best. And we’re looking for a great designer to help us keep doing it. Someone with 5 to 10 years experience, strong communication skills, problem solver, and a passion for team participation.  Someone willing to collaborate, but someone who’s also a bit of a perfectionist.   

The person we're looking for will be responsible for concept and design of print, environmental, packaging and web projects. You'll need to be energetic, self-motivated, talented, supportive and have the ability to work in a team environment, and above all, have the ability to think conceptually and manage a project from start to finish. We are a fast-paced boutique marketing and design agency that is well suited for a self starter, team player and problem solver.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree plus advanced design knowledge & theory
• 5-10+ years real world experience
• Strategic Thinking
• Expert level of Adobe Creative Suite, FIGMA, Wordpress, and Google Docs
• Branding, Packaging, Digital, Environmental Design
• Conceptual Writing Experience
• Real Estate & Retail Experience a plus
• Mentorship experience

Skills needed to succeed:

• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation
• High-level conceptual and strategic problem solving
• Time management in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional Adobe Creative Suite abilities
• Web Design skill a plus
• Perfectionist quality design
• Ability to take feedback 

Must be:

• Self motivated, detail oriented
• Willing to collaborate
• Hybrid (on-site with 1-2 days as flex)

Salary range: $70,000 to $85,000 based on experience. Benefits include 401k, potential bonuses, vacation, and insurance that includes dental and vision.
