Description Acara Solutions seeking for a Mechanic to work on-site with our client in New London, OH. Here's what you'd do: Dismantles, moves, assembles, installs, welds, torch work, and repairs industrial machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions. Dismantles equipment and machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools; moves machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks; assembles and installs equipment such as conveyors, using hand and power tools; constructs foundations; aligns machines; performs scheduled inspection and maintenance. Sets up and operates machine tools and fabrication machinery to rework or make new parts. Duties may increase in scope as the employee becomes more skilled. Still, the primary emphasis is the performance of various maintenance tasks rather than a high degree of skill in any particular trade. Increased knowledge necessary to calculate the rigging load based on the center of gravity, lifting points, and any special rigging necessary. May be assigned to lead a specific project. Other work may be assigned at the Management's direction. Here's what you'll get: Pay: $31.18/hr. Hours: 5/8 standard (1st Shift). Length: Temp to Direct (5 Months). Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years of mechanical experience. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Certifications in Crane/Forklift. Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen. Travel to other locations may be necessary. May drive a truck or crane once certified. The tools/Equipment Used are Micrometers, Bore Gauges, Indicators, Hydraulic Tools, and other Hand Tools.
