Summary: IHL is looking for an Associate Designer to join our team! The Associate Designer for Sleepwear and Loungewear will be responsible for working closely with the Design Director to design and merchandise branded collections. Responsibilities:
- Creating flat sketches & CAD presentations providing a color / print
vision for each season. - Communicate with Design and Production through e-mail & Google Docs.
- Organize, enter information and keep record of submits pertaining to the product group assigned.
- Follow up on pending submits according to delivery calendar.
- Run reports and share information with cross-functional partners.
- Maintain a submit library.
- Making sure each step of the product process from inception to production is carefully reviewed & followed with a lot of attention to
detail. Including fittings, lab dips, etc. - Review all submits received from the factories (lab dips, strike offs, fabric bulks, trims, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design
- 2-3 years experience
- Highly Creative and positive addition to company culture
- Good time management skill with the ability to prioritize
- Expert Level Adobe Creative Suite
Job Logistics
Location: New York, NY – Midtown West
Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000
