Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Designer with expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design and development of various civil engineering projects, including land development, infrastructure, and site planning.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create detailed civil engineering designs and drawings.
  • Develop site layouts, grading plans, utility plans, and drainage plans.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop design concepts and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Prepare detailed construction documents and specifications.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and assist in cost estimation.
  • Conduct field visits to gather data and assess project sites.
  • Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Review and incorporate survey data, soil reports, and other technical information into design plans.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders to ensure integrated and comprehensive project designs.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other project documentation.
  • Maintain project files and documentation in an organized manner.


Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil design, with a strong focus on using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, standards, and practices.
  • Experience in land development, site planning, and infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with GIS software and applications.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to civil engineering and land development.
