Garden Gate Florist is hiring: Floral Designer in Yorba Linda

We are looking to hire a creative floral designer to design & create customized floral arrangements. The floral designer's responsibilities include, wrapping completed floral arrangements, greening arrangements, designing arrangements, processing, and helping to ensure that the shop is clean and well-organized.

Ultimately, an exceptional floral designer should be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ensure that ordered floral arrangements are made in a timely manner.

Floral Designer Responsibilities:

• Prep/green arrangements
• Process and clean product
• Ensuring that flowers are properly watered and stored to prevent wilting.
• Selecting and arranging flowers and decorative items to create standard and customized floral arrangements.
• Maintaining an adequate supply of wires, foams, ribbons, tapes, and other decorative supplies at your station.
• Ability to accurately read floral arrangement orders.
• Fill out sold tickets when orders are recieved 

Floral Designer Requirements:

• Proven floral design experience.
• Sound knowledge of different flower types, arrangement styles, and flower conditioning.
• Able to follow reciepes. 
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Artistic and creative.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
