The ideal candidate has a keen eye for design, a commitment to clean, efficient code, and the ability to transform concepts into polished, production-ready deliverables.As a Web Designer and Email Marketing Manager, you'll work closely with our creative team under the guidance of the VP of Digital Services. Your role will involve designing, coordinating, and managing user experiences (UX) and HTML projects, covering everything from wireframes and site mapping to design, coding, content migration, and ongoing site maintenance.This position demands a high standard of execution across diverse digital platforms, an ability to work effectively within deadlines and budget constraints, and a knack for crafting compelling and strategically aligned solutions. As a Web Designer and Email Marketing Manager, your enthusiasm and creativity are expected to shine through in every aspect of your work.Core ResponsibilitiesCollaborate directly with clients to develop concepts and code templates for HTML emails and related landing pages.Manage the email deployment schedule for various clients, and analyze and report on campaign performance to both clients and internal teams.Support website redesign initiatives, including content migration in CMS platforms, code refinement, and conducting browser and accessibility testing.Work Schedule & Location This role requires working from our Chicago office four days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.Candidates must be based in Chicago to be considered for this position.Qualifications Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, and HubSpot.Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Proficiency with design tools like Figma and Photoshop.Ability to generate reports using Google Analytics (GA4).Expertise in PHP, JavaScript frameworks, or CMS platforms like Craft CMS, WordPress, or Drupal is highly desirable.A portfolio showcasing previous agency experience is a plus.Team Collaboration & Communication Keep account managers updated on project progress.Work efficiently to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.Continuously seek ways to improve your skills and output.Stay aware of project budgets and upcoming client meetings.Be ready to communicate directly with clients when needed.Maintain enthusiasm and contribute creative insights whenever possible.
