Our mission is to revolutionize how professionals learn, practice, and improve their skills in a safe, engaging, and highly effective environment.Our team works on-site in San Francisco 4-5 days per week.The Role We're seeking a Lead Product Designer to join our founding team and shape the future of our AI-powered roleplay platform. As our first dedicated designer, you'll work directly with customers, engineers, and founders to create next-generation interfaces and experiences that make complex AI interactions feel natural and intuitive.Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept to implementationCollaborate closely with customers to understand their needs and pain pointsWork with engineers and founders to bring designs to lifeCreate and maintain design systems and assets in FigmaConduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisionsAdvocate for design best practices and user-centered thinking across the organizationContribute to product strategy and roadmap planningRequirements5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in B2B SaaSStrong portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI/UX design skillsInterest in designing AI-powered interfaces and productsProficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design toolsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environmentSelf-starter mentality with a passion for solving complex problemsBachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)Ideal Candidate Has experience as a solo designer or early design hire at a startupDemonstrates curiosity and creativity in approaching new challengesShows passion for creating delightful user experiencesComfortable with rapid prototyping and iterative design processesHas a keen interest in AI, voice interfaces, and emerging technologiesExperience with or enthusiasm for gamification and interactive learning platformsBenefitsOpportunity to shape a new product category in professional development and AI-driven learningWork directly with founders and have a significant impact on the company's directionCompetitive salary and equity packageChance to solve challenging problems at the intersection of AI, voice interfaces, and instructional designBe part of a high-growth, well-funded startup with enormous potentialIf you're ready to take on a multi-billion dollar problem and create the future of AI-powered roleplays for professional development, we want to hear from you!
