This CAD designer will have the opportunity to produce pattern designs using Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools.
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Prepare detailed drawings of products from sketches using CAD equipment and associated peripheral equipment and software.
- Follow instructions and procedures.
- Perform non-complex detailing, redrawing, lettering and tracing of drawings on components, assemblies and engineering change orders.
- Ensure that drawings incorporate all design features and maintain the product style.
- Contribute design modifications to improve the product quality and function.

Qualifications:WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Required:
- An associate degree in mechanical design and drafting.
- Experience with 3D Modeling and layout of electromechanical systems and components.
- Preferrably using Creo Parametric Design Essential 7.0 or later.
- Applied experience in creating Engineering drawings and layouts per ASME 14.1; and applying Dimensioning and tolerancing per ASME Y14.5
- Proficient in using and navigating through Product Lifecycle Management tools such as Windchill.
Preferred:
- Certified HVAC designer under ISO 17024
- Experience in using SAP Production System (P00)
- Experience in creating and documenting Engineering Change Requests and Notices for production using Windchill.
- Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5M
