This is a hybrid position, candidate must be able to commute to Elmsford, NY.!

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the conceptual development of product lines, i.e., ability to research, communicate and present ideas/concepts effectively
  • Develop new designs and reimagine art across a variety of product categories
  • Prepare CADs to be sent to vendors for sampling of products
  • Ensure that designs are of high quality and consistent with brand standards, market trends, as well as product strategy
  • Collaborate and communicate with key partners throughout the design process including the Product Development Team
  • Design and execute package designs, create package die-lines, edit photos, create original graphics and illustrations, and work within brand guides
  • Develop product mock-ups, for catalog photoshoots, shows and presentations
  • Adhere to production schedules to manage time and prioritize daily workload
  • Monitor competitors, product innovation and market dynamics
  • Present ideas, problem solving and design solutions within the scope of a project
  • Manage multiple design projects and product lines with varied deadlines

Qualities You Must Have:

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Communication or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Experience with children's and teen product and packaging a plus
  • Fast, detailed oriented and accurate designer
  • Highly refined and versatile graphic design style
  • Creative and innovative self-starter
  • Extremely well organized with the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Ability to work well in a creative team and independently
  • Expert in Illustrator and Photoshop. Experience with other Creative Cloud Software
  • Experienced product design skills is a plus (e.g. 3D product design, technical design, sketching, creative application and manipulation of art, final mechanical art, fabric and trim identification)
