Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated and PE Licensed Civil Designer to join our client team in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing civil infrastructure plans, focusing on land development projects. 

You will work closely with engineers and project managers to create detailed designs for residential, commercial, and public infrastructure projects. Your work will involve grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and other essential elements of land development.

Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and design civil engineering plans for land development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform technical calculations and create detailed construction documents.
  • Assist in the permitting process and coordinate with governmental agencies.
  • Review and revise designs based on feedback and project needs.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5+ years of land development design experience, including grading, drainage, and utility design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in the state of California.
  • Proficiency in civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
  • Strong understanding of local zoning and development regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
