Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and innovative Digital Graphic Designer to join our Creative Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong design portfolio, a passion for visual storytelling, and a thorough understanding of digital design principles. As a Digital Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating compelling visual content that enhances our brand and engages our audience across various digital platforms.

Essential Functions, Duties & Accountabilities:

  • Develop visually appealing graphics for digital platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, digital advertisements, and more.
  • Design landing pages and other website pages.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all digital channels.
  • Work closely with the Director, Brand & Creative, marketing team, ecommerce team, digital solutions team and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality design solutions that are on brand.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and projects.
  • Create intuitive and user-friendly designs that enhance the overall user experience on digital platforms.
  • Design and produce engaging motion graphics and animations for various digital media.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and meeting deadlines.
  • Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine and improve design outputs.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and when to implement them.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, best practices, tools, and technologies to continuously improve skills and bring fresh ideas to the team.

Additional Functions, Duties & Accountabilities:

  • Serve as a member of Brand & Creative Team and support others as necessary.
  • Maintain flexibility in work schedule to meet business needs.
  • Actively and positively contribute to the overall success of the company through regular contributions to the general management of the company.
  • Participate and provide leadership in inter-departmental meetings, projects and informal activities.
  • Support the company and other departments wherever and whenever your skills and experience would be beneficial.

Requirements:

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in digital graphic design.
  • Refined design sensibility, strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital design projects.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro) and other relevant tools.
  • Experience with user centered design and testing
  • Experience with Figma and UI design is a plus.
  • Experience with Magento Page Builder is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with copywriters, team members and stakeholders.
  • Keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
