We're grounded in scripture and guided by our values, so check out our website (www.elevationchurch.org (http://www.elevationchurch.org)) to be sure you're aligned before you step into the application process with us, particularly paying attention to our Beliefs and our Code.RESPONSIBILITIESCreate user stories, user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and interactionsConduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions and ensure user-centric solutionsDesign intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces that adhere to design guidelines and brand aestheticsIterate designs based on feedback and user testing, continuously improving the user experienceDevelop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across various productsProvide design assets and specifications to developers for accurate implementationContribute to a positive and collaborative design culture within the teamMUST-HAVESActive participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community).2+ years' experience working as a UX/UI DesignerProfound UI design skills with a solid portfolio of design projects2+ years' experience creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and sitemaps2+ years' experience with Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Invision, or other visual design and wire-framing toolsStrong visual design skills, a good understanding of user-system interaction, and the ability to presentDetail-oriented approach to design and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiencesNICE-TO-HAVESFamiliarity with Elevation ChurchExperience working in a church or non-profit environmentFamiliarity with front-end development principles and capabilitiesDAY-TO-DAYWe're a Sunday-Thursday work environment. Monday-Thursday, we're in the office (8:30AM - 5PM); on Sunday, we're supporting the weekend worship experience either directly in our roles or by choosing a weekly serving opportunity at one of our Elevation Church campuses.There's a lot to accomplish each week, so we're pretty fast-paced. We're also not afraid to pivot a strategy or project quickly to meet the needs of the weekend - adaptability is a key competence for us.Yes, we work hard. But we're good at playing hard, too.
