Join us.What You'll DoWe are currently seeking a Designer who will own off-court lifestyle sportswear across categories for the Women’s Design team.Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Responsible for the design and development of Off-Court Women’s Sportswear across categories (tops, jackets, sweaters, dresses and bottoms).Ability to pull conceptual imagery, product research, and design inspiration each season that supports the creative vision and maintains brand filtersResponsible for creating and maintaining all sketches, detail pages, BOMs, and tech packsResponsible for maintaining VLPs (Visual Line Plan) and capturing changes throughout entire development lifecycleCross functional collaboration, such as leading design intent for fittings, reviewing color and strike-offs, communicating fabric and trim approvals, managing pass-off to tech partnersResponsible for managing and hitting all deadlinesAbility to work closely with other team members to help manage overall workload for the department, must be a team playerOrganization, great with time management and attention to detailAble to function in a fast-paced work environment that is growing and evolving rapidlyCompensation: 75K-100K + 10% bonus opportunityWhat We're Looking ForA fashion design degree from an accredited academic institution5+ years of design experienceStrong knowledge of apparel design and garment constructionMust have excellent communication and organizational skillsProficient on Mac platformMust be able to work proficiently in Adobe IllustratorPhotoshop and InDesign are a plusKnowledge of Centrix PLM is a plusExperience with fabric and wash development - fabric drape and technical propertiesExperience with graphic techniques is a plusStrong self-leader but can also take directionPresentation skills; ability to speak confidently and respond to feedback in a collaborative wayExcellent sketching abilities, able to communicate ideas visuallyMust have examples of work and portfolio to be consideredWhat We’ll ProvideLos Angeles, like Wilson Sportswear, is at the intersection of sport, fashion, and culture.
