Position Summary:
Guerdon LLC is seeking a talented Structural Designer II. In this position you will be responsible for specific technical design aspects of all assigned project(s), including investigation, evaluation and recommendation of structural design solutions.
Responsibilities/Learned skills will include:
- Review construction documents for conformance with project and factory standards.
- Coordinate with Structural Engineers and Architects at all project phases.
- Provide advice and direction to our design/drafting and manufacturing teams.
- Monitor progress of manufacturing in conformance with approval documents.
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure a clean transition from factory-built to site-built construction phases.
- Preparation of construction/fabrication documents and details while collaborating with our internal and external teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors in engineering preferred or 5+ related work experience.
- Familiarity with basic elements of building/construction practices, wood framing a plus two + years of experience of BIM modeling software, Revit a plus
- Maturity, confidence, and ability to earn respect and trust from the team.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism.

Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and reach, stoop kneel.
- Light to moderately lifting is required.
- Moderate noise (i.e., business offices with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
- Ability to work in shared space.
