The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for clean, artful design and possess superior UI skills. You should be able to translate high-level requirements into effective interaction flows and artifacts, transforming them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.What you’ll be doing:Establish the look and feel for various interfaces, including web apps, mobile devices, XR apps, games and other interactive mediaDesign user-centered interaction models, wireframes and screen mockupsCollaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and user experienceExecute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to product developmentSupport multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and expectationsIdentify and troubleshoot UX issues (e.g., responsiveness)Stay up to date with design trends and best practices, and continuously seek opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in product designWhat you need to succeed:Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, including user research, conceptualization, UI/UX design, and prototypingProficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or other relevant design softwareKnowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, ad visual hierarchyFamiliarity with user-centered design (UCD) methodologies and usability principlesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teamsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAttention to detail and a passion for creating user experiencesEligible to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)Great to have:Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related fieldExperience designing for Learning Applications or educational technologyExperience with transitions, animations, motion design, and dynamic interactionsFamiliarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototypingExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development processWork Perks:An open-minded, collaborative culture of enthusiastic creatives and technologistsWe prioritize work/life balance by providing flexible schedules PLUS a competitive PTO and holiday packageMedical, Dental, Vision, Accidental, Life, Short-term and Long-term Disability Insurance401k with an Employer MatchSpacious, ergonomic, and modern office space, equipped with a kitchen that is stocked with snacks, drinks, and access to delicious coffeeFun and exciting team building activitiesWorking Conditions:In-office 100% of the timeThe person in this position must be able to stay stationary for long periods of timeSome travel may be required for this roleSome transportation of equipment may be required – up to 50 poundsJob Location: On-Site – Orlando, Florida.
