Job Title: Senior Art Director - Graphic Design Specialist

About the Role:
Our Fortune 150 Energy client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Art Director with a strong focus on graphic design to join our creative team. This role is integral in delivering innovative and effective design solutions across multiple mediums, including graphic, web, motion graphics, email, and video storyboarding. As a key player in their creative department, you will collaborate with copywriters, account managers, and digital specialists to ensure their brand's visual communication aligns with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Design Leadership: Lead the concepting and art direction for a variety of projects, ensuring all creative outputs meet the company's brand standards and voice.
- Multi-Channel Expertise: Design and deliver materials for a wide range of communication channels, including digital ads, email, web, print, video, and more.
- Collaboration and Presentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and present creative concepts to clients, making revisions as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain a high level of attention to detail from project initiation through completion, ensuring all work is error-free and of superior quality.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: A 4-year degree or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 10 years in art direction, graphic design, and related fields.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch or Adobe XD, and presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Keynote, or Prezi.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your art direction and design capabilities across various mediums.
- Preferred Experience: Previous experience as an art director at an ad agency is a plus, along with experience in advertising, marketing, and corporate communications.
- Soft Skills: Strong concepting and presentation skills, well-organized, capable of managing multiple projects, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Additional Skills: Familiarity with social media channels, Microsoft SharePoint, and project management tools like Workamajig is desirable.
