Primary role is to perform a variety of piping design for plant support or engineering projects to maintain and continuously improve the performance of multiple chemical production facilities using AutoCAD. Show efficiency and accuracy while executing multiple projects.Essential Functions:Responsible for the preparation of general arrangment layouts, study drawings, piping isometrics and detailed design construction drawingsCreating 3D piping models for project reviewsProject scope definition: creating and understanding project delvierables per the business needsCreating as-built drawings for P&IDs, Piping Isometrics, general layoutsResponsible for meeting project schedules, estimates with complete deliverablesExperience: 10-15 years' piping design experience in the chemical industry or related field.2 years 3D model design review software experience required CadWORX or Plant 3D preferredCompentatncy in creating or revising drawings from design sketches and verbal instructionsSound knowledge of computer graphics and drafting techniques, engineering drawings, reading of drawings and reproduction methods used by the engineering disciplineKnowledge of basic mathematical skillsBasic knowledge of ASME and API codesTravel Requirments:approximately 25% Mostly an office position, with about 25-50% of field verification.Education:Associates degree in design/drafting or a related field.
