Our mission is to revolutionize how professionals learn, practice, and improve their skills in a safe, engaging, and highly effective environment.
Our team works on-site in San Francisco 4-5 days per week.
The RoleWe're seeking a Lead Product Designer to join our founding team and shape the future of our AI-powered roleplay platform. As our first dedicated designer, you'll work directly with customers, engineers, and founders to create next-generation interfaces and experiences that make complex AI interactions feel natural and intuitive.
Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept to implementation
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand their needs and pain points
- Work with engineers and founders to bring designs to life
- Create and maintain design systems and assets in Figma
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Advocate for design best practices and user-centered thinking across the organization
- Contribute to product strategy and roadmap planning
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in B2B SaaS
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI/UX design skills
- Interest in designing AI-powered interfaces and products
- Proficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Self-starter mentality with a passion for solving complex problems
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Has experience as a solo designer or early design hire at a startup
- Demonstrates curiosity and creativity in approaching new challenges
- Shows passion for creating delightful user experiences
- Comfortable with rapid prototyping and iterative design processes
- Has a keen interest in AI, voice interfaces, and emerging technologies
- Experience with or enthusiasm for gamification and interactive learning platforms
