Apparel Technical Designer Job at Naked Wardrobe in Los Angeles

Global luxury brand, Naked Wardrobe, is seeking an exceptional Technical Designer with relevant experience and skills to join our team. We are looking for a motivated candidate, who is adaptable, flexible, and a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside our Fashion Design team to develop the fit and specification for the prototype samples, formulate corrections and provide solutions as appropriate
• Review prototypes vs. tech packs for key measurements and constructions
• Responsible for fit and construction integrity
• Establish specifications and construction requirements for each garment type as per standards
• Review and revise spec sheets to confirm their accuracy
• Organize workflow based on delivery and production time and action calendar
• Communicate fit revisions and comments to vendors in a technical package format
• Approve fit and construction for each fit sample
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 3-5 + years of related professional experience
• Intermediate Computer Drawing skills for technical and construction detail sketches & related art using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
• Proficient computer skills with emphasis on MS Office software & PLM Systems
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Positive team player
• This role is on-site at our Northridge headquarters only
