Job Summary
Midnight Oil is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will design and create digital advertisements targeted at individuals seeking auto insurance quotes, along with some print collateral. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our campaigns, helping to drive engagement and conversion.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Design engaging digital ads, including display ads, social media graphics, and banners, focused on the auto insurance industry.
Create print collateral such as brochures, flyers, and direct mail pieces that align with marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project goals, target audience, and branding guidelines.
Ensure all designs are optimized for multiple platforms (e.g., desktop, mobile, and print).
Revise designs based on feedback and ensure timely delivery of final assets.
Stay updated on design trends, especially in digital advertising, to ensure fresh and relevant creative output.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a portfolio showcasing digital ad and print design work.
Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Experience designing for digital ad platforms (Google, Facebook, Instagram) and understanding of ad specs.
Familiarity with creating print materials and understanding print production processes.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills and the ability to receive and interpret constructive feedback.
Preferred Skills:
Basic knowledge of animation or video editing (for motion ads).
Familiarity with A/B testing designs for ad performance.
Experience in marketing for the auto insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
