Our watersports division, encompassing industry-leading brands such as Oru Kayak and Isle Paddle Boards, is at the forefront of merging performance with design excellence. We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team and help elevate our visual storytelling through a wide variety of creative projects.
Position Overview:
The Graphic Designer will sit within the Marketing team and be responsible for producing a large volume of creative assets that align with the watersports division’s brand standards. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines. The designer will play an integral part in the development of marketing materials, including digital and print assets, with a primary focus on email campaigns, web content, packaging, assembly guides, and paid social ad creatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design visually engaging email templates and newsletters that align with brand aesthetics.
- Create digital assets for web, including landing pages, banners, and other online materials.
- Assist in designing packaging and assembly guides that are user-friendly and on-brand.
- Develop and refine limited print materials related to product design.
- Ad creatives for paid social media campaigns.
- Ensure all assets are optimized for performance across different digital platforms and formats.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and sales to align design projects with overall business objectives.
- Maintain consistency in design and uphold the visual identity of the Oru Kayak and Isle brands.
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously elevate the creative output.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in an e-commerce or lifestyle brand environment.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
- Experience designing for both digital and print media.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of work, including email marketing, web design, packaging, and ad creatives.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of web design principles and user experience (UX) is a plus.
- Familiarity with watersports or outdoor lifestyle products is a bonus.
