Applicants must possess exceptional design and leadership abilities.Graphic Designers on our Creative Services team primarily create work that supports our pursuit of new business. Typically, we are creating the visual style and layout for RFPs/RFQs that Populous sends to potential clients to present ourselves and our portfolio of work across our markets.What Your Day Will Consist Of:Leading a broad spectrum of project types: Managing graphic designs from conception to deliveryProvide mentorship and creative direction to teammatesServe as an advocate for our processBuild long term relationships with internal clientsEngage in marketing initiativesCollaborating with marketing teammates, architects, and senior leadership to create and manage digital and print material for department and firm needs, including sales-focused layouts, event collateral, illustrations and infographics.Creating a cohesive visual style for each project through the selection of colors, fonts, photographs and development of layouts and other design elements to communicate creative concepts.Managing all graphic design tasks, refining projects and drafts, and generating creative ideas.Promoting the brand and vision of the firm through high-quality graphic content.Developing and maintaining brand standards for print collateral, web ads, social media creative, logo design, market specific materials and more.Requirements For Success: Strong work ethic, with demonstrated efficiency, flexibility, and a positive spirit that will help you thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Exceptional editorial and page layout designer, to produce high-quality visuals for perfect bound books, branding and graphic design sensibilities with an advanced understanding of color usage, typography & photo composition and layout design, as well as a keen eye for visual and aesthetic details.Ability to learn quickly and desire to improve as a graphic designer.Engage in work collaboratively with business development teammates, architects, interior designers, and planners.Superior interpersonal and communications skills alongside presentation skills.High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat), and MS Office required. Experience with Asana is a plus.Keeping up to date with industry developments.Desire to engage in a fun, collaborative, energetic team, with amazing projects and dynamic company culture.Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in graphic design with a minimum of 5 years of professional work experience.Experience in a client-facing, graphic design role with a portfolio of design projects.Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and staying on schedule and on budget.Ability to set up files for print production creating bleeds and crops, imposition and resizing.Extensive knowledge of graphic design styles and techniques.Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task.Experience and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.Please include a link to your online portfolio or PDF of this work.Additional details: Travel may be required.Occasional overtime may be requiredPopulous offers a competitive salary and bonus packages.
