Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Product Designer to spearhead the design and development of our Immersive XR Experiences and SaaS Platform. In this role, you will take the lead in crafting intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning user experiences for Extended Reality (XR) applications, which include AR, VR, and MR, alongside a powerful SaaS platform, integrating the latest in AI technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and AI researchers to drive the product design strategy and ensure that our products set the industry standard in usability, aesthetic design, and immersive interactivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Leadership: Lead the end-to-end design process from conceptualization to final product across immersive XR applications and the accompanying SaaS platform, ensuring seamless user experiences.
• Product Strategy & Vision: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product goals, user needs, and market requirements. Define the design vision and strategy to create engaging XR experiences.
• UX/UI Design: Create and iterate on wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for both XR apps and SaaS interfaces, ensuring intuitive interaction models.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and content creators to align on design goals and technical feasibility while ensuring a cohesive user experience across XR and web interfaces.
• Usability Testing & Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions. Use data-driven insights to refine designs and improve user satisfaction.
• Prototyping & Storyboarding: Develop and iterate on low-to-high fidelity prototypes, showcasing immersive experiences and user flows that push the boundaries of interaction in XR environments.
• XR Interaction Design: Innovate on interaction patterns for XR environments, considering spatial design, gesture controls, 3D interfaces, and immersive storytelling.
• Visual & Interaction Standards: Establish and maintain design systems, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency across the product suite.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to other designers on the team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence in design.
• Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in XR, SaaS, and design practices to ensure our products remain cutting-edge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, with a focus on immersive XR experiences (AR, VR, MR) and SaaS platforms.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Design Expertise: Strong portfolio demonstrating innovative design thinking and expertise in user-centered design methodologies, prototyping, and interaction design for immersive XR experiences and SaaS platform interfaces.
• User-Centric Approach: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices in user research, usability, and accessibility, with a track record of designing user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for complex software products.
• XR Expertise: Demonstrated experience in designing for XR environments, including AR/VR headsets, spatial computing, and 3D interaction models.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively to stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate abstract concepts, user needs and technical requirements into compelling product experiences.
• Leadership: Experience leading design projects and mentoring team members in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Bonus Skills:

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Unity, Unreal Engine) and 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya) is a plus.
• Experience with AI-driven design elements, gamification, and interactive storytelling.
• Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how it impacts design implementation.
• Understanding of IoT, digital twins, or AI technologies in relation to immersive experiences.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as haptics, gesture recognition, or eye-tracking within XR.
