Jr. Graphic Designer Job at Core Systems in Poway

Description:

The Junior Graphic Designer will work to develop high-quality media for digital and print such as video ads, graphic ads, web graphics, brochures, catalogs, posters, PowerPoint presentations, Social Media content, etc. Must be able to take art direction and adhere to branding graphic standards. This role will work alongside our website admin to create engaging website designs.

Hybrid Position: 1-2 days remote, and 3-4 days on location in the office

Note: Must be within driving distance (50 miles) to our Poway location

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design media from concept to creation
• Responsible for organizing and maintaining media library
• Create UI/UX designs for main website and landing pages
• Assisting and managing in organizing and planning video/photo shoots
• Prolific content creator
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, AfterEffects, Illustrator)
• Strong understanding of design, typography, color schemes, etc.
• UI/UX design (page layout, navigation, user experience)
• Understanding of responsive web design and front-end development
• Photography skills
• Portfolio or work samples required
• 1-year related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge in computer/hardware engineering
• Working knowledge of 3D design is a plus (Keyshot)
• Knowledge in computer/hardware engineering is a plus
• Experience creating infographics or data visualizations is a plus
• Knowledge of Solidworks is a plus
• Video Editing skills is a plus
• Animation and motion design is a plus

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or a combination of coursework and experience

Non-Exempt Salary Details: The base pay rate for this role is between $24 to $28 per hour. The range for this position is an estimate. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate including, but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, education and certifications.
