As a Senior CAD/BIM designer, you will be responsible for coordinating the production of design drawings, primarily Process Mechanical and Site/Civil. You will work alongside and assist engineers in the design and production drawings in Revit and AutoCAD Civil 3D. You will be responsible for leading the drawing efforts on small to medium size projects, including coordination with other disciplines (Structural, Architectural, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, etc) to successfully complete design drawing sets.

  • Ensure drawing efforts comply with Hazen company and client CAD/BIM standards and styles.
  • Create models and drawings of new and existing structures in Revit (primarily for Process Mechanical design and any assistance needed for other disciplines).
  • Prepare Civil/Site drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including site plans, grading plans, yard piping plans/profiles, etc.
  • Coordinate with Project Engineers and the other disciplines (structural, architectural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical) throughout project execution.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3-5 years’ experience using AutoCAD and Revit to create design drawings.
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of pipe materials and fittings, pumps, and water/wastewater treatment equipment preferred.
  • Experience in successfully delivering projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.

Educational Requirements:

  • Associates degree or Certificate in a related field (Engineering, Architecture, CAD/BIM Design).
