Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Structural Designer. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced engineers to design, analyze, and evaluate structural components and systems for various projects. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to gain valuable experience in the field of structural engineering and grow within SSFM.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
- Perform structural calculations and simulations using industry-standard software.
- Prepare technical drawings and documentation for construction projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and compliance with design specifications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
- Proficiency in structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, or ETABS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
- Internship experience in structural engineering.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations.
- Preferred experience using Auto Cad and/or Revit.
- Willingness to pursue Structural Professional Engineering licensure.
