We are looking for a Digital Designer who will help to drive the growth of the digital marketing efforts of Majestic Resorts through design that is engaging and aligned with the brand. A keen eye for detail and the ability to take a project from concept to completion, paired with a luxury design aesthetic, are vital for success in this role.Working primarily on digital design projects but also print collateral, the Digital Designer will organize, collaborate cross-department, and deliver design requests to the teams in both Costa Mujeres, Mexico, and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The motivation to grow and mentor other designers is also key. This position is remote, located in the United States.Responsibilities Assist in the development of visual brand identity for the Majestic Resorts brand, each resort brand, restaurants, bars, programs, etc. through logos and various marketing materials including but not limited to, flyers, brochures and collateral.Consistently apply and encourage use of brand guidelines.Work with the Marketing Automation & UX Manager to develop the brand guidelines for use online.Build and transform wireframes into intuitive user interfaces.Collaborate cross-team to ensure that all designs align with the brand image, pull the user through the sales funnel, while also meeting usability and website standards.Support the growth of the digital marketing effort through the design of content and graphics for website landing pages, email design, digital marketing banners and social media campaigns.Produce on-brand and eye-catching campaigns that align with the company's overall aesthetic.Liaison with agencies to produce and publish digital assets.Work collaboratively within the Sales & Marketing and Operations teams to build, align, and define the brand.Monitor and maintain printed and digital collateral at the resorts to provide a consistent and well-informed experience for our guests, i.e. FeelTourist.Take ideas from concept to execution, with the consideration of content and communication, e-commerce, and IT expertise from colleagues, to deliver an effective user experience that drives sales goals.Own projects through completion and continually maintain responsibility to complete work on time.Mentor and monitor the design work of your peers to deliver a consistent design style.Be accountable for the accuracy of information presented in deliverables in print and online.Take constructive criticism and apply to all work that follows.Practice clear and constructive communication.Consider multi-lingual flexibility and future-state goals, ultimately providing varied solutions as needed.Provide mentorship to other designers as directed.Additional job-related responsibilities.Requirements Education:Bachelor's degree in digital design, graphic design, or a related field.Experience:5+ years of professional design experience, hotel industry is preferred but not required.Language(s):Spanish (Limited working proficiency).Required skills:Proficient in design software programs, such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Cloud.Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.Demonstrated experience designing for and coding in email platforms (Mailchimp).Experience with web design in CMS (Magnolia, WordPress).Familiarity with best practices for designing digital marketing ads and social media graphics.Knowledge of web-based graphic production, including designing with a fluid and/or responsive mindset.Ability to develop brand identity through multiple assets.Ability to print-ready/preflight files and deliver completely and work with print vendors.Interchangeably utilize PMS, CMYK, RBG and HEX codes.Strong knowledge of print and web-based typography.Ability to design within a grid system.Ability to concept and clearly present.Adaptable and able to pick up new techniques.Ability to work on their own or in a team environment.Demonstrated leadership capabilities.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Works well under pressure, with flexibility, and occasionally within tight deadlines.Thorough and precise in their work.Problem solving capabilities.Initiative to manage all work through to completion.Working knowledge of AfterEffects or Final Cut.#J-18808-Ljbffr
