We're excited to work with designers who see technology as a tool to help people tackle real-world problems.As a Senior Digital Product Designer, you'll imagine, design, prototype, and ship compelling new experiences. The ideal candidate brings intense curiosity, a dedication to craft and learning, and an openness to sharing and developing ideas. You love to learn, experiment, and engage in the design process. You enjoy the constant iteration and refinement of an idea until it feels "just right" (and even then, you keep questioning how to make it better). At Humane, you'll have the opportunity to develop features and products that people will love using every day.We request that you submit a presentation (Keynote, PDF or Figma preferred) of 1-2 examples of your work, along with any passion projects, that you feel represent you as a designer. We'd love to learn how you think about product design and make decisions - from the experience of using a product to its look and feel, the craft behind it, and the trade-offs you made to ship.What You Might DoExplore, create and ship new experiences powered by AIWork with other designers to refine and improve existing experiencesCollaborate deeply with various engineering teams (AI, computer vision, web, etc.)Invent and prototype new ways to interact with computersContribute to the development of future productsEssential Qualifications 7+ years experience designing, prototyping, and shipping digital productsFluency with digital product design tools such as Figma, Sketch, etc.Some experience prototyping with tools such as Figma, Origami, Protopie, Play, etc.Excellent communication and storytelling skillsStrong foundation in classical and user-centered design principles, including visual design and typographyComfortable with ambiguityPreferred Skills Fluency with modern mobile, desktop and web platforms and their interaction patternsDeep experience building high-fidelity prototypes with tools like Origami Studio, SwiftUI, or web technologies like WebGL, React/JavaScript, etc.Advanced knowledge of motion graphics, shaders and animation principlesBuilding design systems and reusable components, iconography and type systemsUsing and experimenting with AI technologies like LLMs, Stable Diffusion/Midjourney/ComfyUI, etcTinkering with physical objects, designing real world interactive experiences, or anything that bridges the gap between computers and the physical worldSalary Range: $175,000- $215,000Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees) The salary range for this role is listed above.
