CAD Designer Drafter

Come work for a top-notch firm that cares about their employees and clients’ success. We are currently hiring CAD Designer/Drafters with a focus on custom projects. We are interested in experienced Drafters, as well as people that have the aptitude and desire to learn. This role also includes Project Management from end to end, seeing the project through to completion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet with Clients for Custom Drawings – 2D and 3D
• Transfer data into working drawings
• Prepare and Produce drawings or modify existing drawings
• Handle and oversee individual projects from start to finish
• Draw and design customer drawings and tooling drawings
• Create and revise production drawings
• Create and detail assembly and parts drawings
• Creating preliminary design drawings adhering to established design guidelines
• Maintain design files for design projects
• Provide documentation for custom modifications of current products to meet weekly production schedules
• Prepare various CAD drawings to detailed production drawings
• Prepare simple design documentation and complete detail and layout drawings

Job Requirements:

• Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel
• Keen attention to detail
• Solid organization skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Prior experience with AutoCAD is a bonus – not required
• Prior experience with Solid Works is a bonus – not required

Monday - Friday - 8am-5:00pm - + Overtime available
