Job Description

A Videographer/Editor plays a pivotal role in the production process, responsible for transforming raw footage into a polished final product. Collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager, the Videographer/Editor works on all aspects of shots, providing practical and creative input to scene planning. This role involves selecting, assembling, and positioning equipment, preparing cameras, and testing angles or camera movements. As a camera operator, the individual captures scenes according to requirements, addressing technical or practical issues as they arise. The Videographer/Editor further excels in editing footage, incorporating sound and graphics digitally, and enhancing lighting and coloring in alignment with the Firm's specifications. Additionally, creativity, patience, concentration, teamwork, self-motivation, and organizational skills are crucial attributes for success in this dynamic role.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years videography experience
  • 3+ years offline or online editing experience in Premiere Pro 
  • Experience with lighting equipment, and lighting standards and techniques for live-action acquisition
  • Experience operating, managing, and maintaining video equipment, camera bodies, lenses, microphones, supports, follow focus, etc.
  • Experience shooting narrative ad spots preferred, documentary experience a plus
  • Experience in managing daily production-related activities including deliverables, quality control, vendor interactions, media management, and archiving
  • Ability to provide innovative creative ideas while adhering to brand guidelines
