Web Editor role available in West Coast Time Zone with our top web client!
Initial 12 months + W2 contract paying $30 per hour W2
Work Schedule: 4pm – 12am T-F and 3pm – 11pm Saturday EAST COAST time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Program the news of the day on the website and in app, including curation of content, headline writing, video programming and more
- Support breaking news coverage across a variety of platforms
- Support special projects, collaborating with editorial, product and other teams
- Help execute coverage plans for tentpole events
- Track metrics and analytics of content to stay up to date with evolving interests
- Other tasks as required
Requirements:
- Experience as a Web Editor, across several platforms
- Bachelors Degree required as per client
- Ability to work 4pm – 12am T-F and 3pm – 11pm Saturday EAST COAST time
