Job Description
We're seeking a Copywriter to join our Amazon Fresh creative team.
As a Copywriter & Editor, you'll contribute copy to our brand's marketing channels, including in-store signage, video, paid media, social, web, email, and packaging.
You'll collaborate with the Senior Copywriter and your counterparts in Design and Art Direction to execute ownable, cohesive campaigns. This role reports to the Creative Director, Copy and Editorial.
The Copywriter should have a passion for writing in all its forms and should bring inventive, creative solutions to the table informed by their unique point of view. You should be willing to take feedback from teammates to expand and improve your skills.
To be successful in this role, the Copywriter will quickly become familiar with the Amazon Fresh brand voice, successfully applying it to different forms of media - from print, to digital, to video. You'll understand the differences between each media channel and the importance they play in Amazon Fresh's brand landscape. You'll be able to learn and adapt quickly to a complex industry with business goals that can often be in flux.
This role requires comfortability with fast-paced timelines, an eye for detail, and the ability to think fast on one's feet. The brand lives across both physical and digital retail spaces, so the ideal candidate will be familiar with the nuances of both.
This role is based in Austin TX, with an expectation of being in the Store Support office five days a week. Our Creative Department services both Whole Foods Market and Amazon Fresh. This role will focus primarily on Amazon Fresh, with opportunities to work on select WFM projects.

Responsibilities
- Writing copy for all customer-facing channels, including in store, paid media, social, web, email, and packaging.
- Collaborating with counterparts in Design, Art Direction and Packaging Design to ensure copy and visuals align to communicate the appropriate message.
- Strong writing skills that can be expressed through Amazon's brand voice.
- Able to juggle multiple projects while maintaining a clear definition of priorities.
- Able to adapt quickly to fast-changing business goals.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a strong understanding of organizational processes.
- Ability to work in Figma preferred, but not required.
- 1-2+ years of copywriting experience at a brand or agency preferred, but not required
- Retail experience preferred but not mandatory
- Passion for food a plus
