Plaid Enterprises is a leading manufacturer of consumer products in the Craft and DIY category with national brands including Mod Podge, FolkArt, Apple Barrel, and Bucilla. We are a fully integrated in-house creative marketing team. The Video Shooting and Editing Specialist will be responsible for capturing high-quality video footage and editing it into compelling content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and other marketing channels. This role will also be responsible for organizing sets, preparing video equipment, filming live streams, creating short and long form content videos. The ideal candidate is skilled in both videography and video editing, has a keen eye for detail, and is passionate about storytelling through visuals. Primary Responsibilities •     Set up and operate video cameras, lighting, sound equipment, and other production gear for shoots   and live streams. •     Capture high-quality video footage, ensuring proper framing, lighting, and sound. •     Conduct post-production editing, including cutting, color correction, sound mixing, and adding motion graphics. •     Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and objectives. •     Work closely with the marketing team to create content that meets the needs of specific campaigns •     and platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.). •     Manage video assets and organize files for efficient workflow and retrieval. •     Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and equipment to continuously improve production   quality. •     Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. •     Strong communication skills and the ability to take feedback and adjust. •     Knowledge of basic photography is a plus.   Ideal candidate will have the following skills •     BA in Film Studies or Cinematography •     1-2 years of experience with strong portfolio of video editing and production in a digital,             to consumer function. •     Good eye for design and visual aesthetics. •     Excellent organization, project and timeline management abilities. •     Ability to manage multiple projects from concept through to completion with great attention to detail. •     Enthusiastic self-starter and passionate personality who enjoys telling stories visually. •      Works well as part of a team. •     Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint,  Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Adobe Premiere, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Davinci Resolve is a plus •     Knowledge of crafting, painting, DIY or on-air talent is a plus.
