Founded in 2008, WJD has a dedicated core of readers and a growing audience on social media. WJD is seeking a TALENTED/FANTASTIC/PITHY Headline Writer for part-time work, six days per week. SUCCESSFULL CANDIDATE MUST BE KNOWLEDGABLE IN JEWISH AND MIDDLE EAST HISTORY AND AFFAIRS Responsibilities include: Writing great headlines Finding articles of interest to the WJD readership Posting them on the Web site with intriguing, exciting and thoughtful headlines Building a news narrative out of headlines Sending a daily newsletter to readers Qualifications: Two to five years of experience as a journalist, preferably at a web site Familiarity with Jewish communities around the world, and knowledge of Israeli politics and culture Ability to write catchy headlines Compensation based on experience Current verifiable professional references are required
