This Event Planner role is with a top Main Line catering company and focuses on the planning and execution of events at a premier venue. Event experience with a catering company or restaurant is required.
Responsibilities include:
- Executing planning meetings, site inspections, tastings, and post-event event follow-up
- Promoting and maintaining exceptional customer service while maximizing sales profitability
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure the quality of guest satisfaction
- Negotiating with vendors for a variety of goods and services related to event planning
- Overseeing the planning, managing, and execution of events according to the company’s standards of excellence
- Monitoring delivery of goods and services to ensure contract terms are satisfied
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of three years of catering and event planning experience
- Wedding planning experience
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with Caterease and/or Salesforce a plus
