This Event Planner role is with a top Main Line catering company and focuses on the planning and execution of events at a premier venue. Event experience with a catering company or restaurant is required.


Responsibilities include:

  • Executing planning meetings, site inspections, tastings, and post-event event follow-up
  • Promoting and maintaining exceptional customer service while maximizing sales profitability
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure the quality of guest satisfaction
  • Negotiating with vendors for a variety of goods and services related to event planning
  • Overseeing the planning, managing, and execution of events according to the company’s standards of excellence
  • Monitoring delivery of goods and services to ensure contract terms are satisfied

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of three years of catering and event planning experience
  • Wedding planning experience
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with Caterease and/or Salesforce a plus
