Dieste Inc. is an Omnicom Agency looking to hire an Associate Media Director to join our team in Dallas TX. This position plays a central role in media strategy & planning, reporting, flowcharting, and Investment. Depending on the final account assignments, the channels of focus could vary across spot TV, digital, social, digital audio & retail media for the general market and Multicultural market. Some of the work could also focus on a more strategic consulting role with clients where we don’t manage all the media planning / buying responsibilities. The Associate Media Director will take the lead on developing unique media plans to fit the needs and marketing strategy of our client(s). These plans should stretch beyond the tried-and-true channels and formats and be innovative and fit with the overall creative idea and strategy.
The ideal candidate will guide the team and clients on best-in-class ideas while managing all core functions of the media plans/buys. You will be hub for all parts of the media plan, the process and procedures for implementation and reporting as well as budget management and maintaining the schedule and due dates for the media plan. The Associate Media Director will be the point person of the media team connecting with all other departments within the agency, from Brand Leadership, strategy & insights, creative & audience planning. We’re looking for a leader who will fit within our culture and continue to drive out clients forward with strategic data driven media plans and innovation. Our structure requires this position to not work within any vertical paid media channel, however their role will operate across all media channels, reporting and analytics.
Responsibilities:Lead communication with clients on status calls and media presentationsProvide both topline and deep dive media POVs as requested by clientManage weekly status calls with buying teamsLead media strategy and channel developmentAnalyze target audience using syndicated and proprietary toolsDevelop and execute multi-channel media plansOversee traffic of all creative as well as any tag planning and implementationDrive analytics and measurement reporting to build and share out media plan progress, insights and learningsContinuous leaning and training across all media channels (heavy emphasis on digital)Develop and lead annual client work session for media landscape, strategy & trainingProcess data and boil it down to clear insights and actionable takeawaysFamiliar with GA reporting and capabilitiesManage and measure various KPIs throughout the campaignWork closely across with team partners across all disciplinesEducate brand leadership and creative teams regarding new creative units, recommendations on best practices and usage
Requirements:B.A./B.S. DegreeMinimum of 7+ years of media planning experience, preferably in an Advertising/Marketing AgencyBilingual Spanish is highly preferredPeople management experience leading a team is highly preferredHigh level of confidence, self-motivated, proven leadership experienceDemonstration of strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, verbal, written and presentation skills, including good grammar, spelling, punctuation and attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPointPositive and willing attitude, team-oriented, and a strong desire to learn and excelExcellent organization and time managementAbility to prioritize workload and multi-task
