Who we are looking for:Are you pixel perfect in your execution of creative files? Do you agonize over accurate spacing, color selection, and asset specs? Are you a creative machine that can create endless variations and iterations on established brand or campaign standards? In the role of Creative Producer you must be one part designer, one part production artist, one part organization expert and one part project manager. You must be able to ensure that all creative files are technically correct, resulting in high quality print or digital ready files and fulfilling the approved design work and internal production requirements.
You’ll likely need the following qualifications and experience to be successful in this role:We believe that years of experience is just a number; that said, typically someone in this role has 2–3 years of design, production artist, or print production experiencePrior agency experience would certainly help you get up to speed more quickly but isn’t required for this roleShould possess a mastery of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, After Effects as well as other design tools and technologiesPrior experience with developing HTML5 ads, motion graphics, and other interactive art is highly desired in this roleMust have a solid understanding of all production and printing industry technical requirements such as pre-press file set up for commercial offset printing as well as digital commercial printingHighly collaborative artist who works to produce all files according to the art director’s specificationsAbility to take a master design concept and version out various deliverables for both print and digital while maintaining a brand’s design guidelines for a cohesive marketing campaign.Advises creative team on best practices for the creation and distribution of assetsSkews toward the technical side of design and less about “big creative ideas”; candidates should be comfortable with this aspect of the roleShould possess a “library catalog”-type mental organizational ability with the desire to create organization structures to best execute a large amount of creative assetsNot afraid of voicing a dissenting or contrarian point of view, especially when it supports the brief, the creative idea or the business objectives of a project
