Seeking an
Associate Designer to work within Men’s Active/Sportwear!
This position is temp to perm role. This Designer will be reporting into the Head Designer. This position is heavily focused in performance/activewear, woven design and cut & sew knits, categories.
Job Responsibilities:
-Assisting with CADs and deck development, working on line sheets through to finished seasonal deliveries, and creating color cards-Maintain seasonal brand identity and core product offerings-Stay on top of current design trends-Work with Design, Production and Tech management ensuring all deadlines are met-Create logo artwork-Communicate with factories daily to follow up on line development-Assist with lab dips, strike-offs and all other development submits-Manage all sample organization and shipping-Support design development process specifically with creation of tech packs and technical sketches-Attend and notate fit sessions-Support graphic design development projects
Qualifications:-Must have experience with mass-market off-price driven products-Experience in cut & sew knits and active/performance-Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop proficient-Strong computer sketching ability-Ability to travel seasonally for market meetings
Education:-Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Art equivalent is required
