Technical Designer - Intimates

The Technical Designer is responsible for all technical aspects from concept development through production. Developing bra and panty fits, pattern creation and corrections, construction and specifications details. Candidate will help uphold production ready garment construction to achieve on time delivery. This position will interface with cross functional team members and includes all brands in our portfolio.

Responsibilities:Candidate must have knowledge of seamless knit, cut and sew knit garment construction of Women’s Intimate Apparel (bras and underwear for average and full-figure fits)Work with technical design director and designers, to develop tech packs, create specs / construction sheets for proto & fit samples utilizing blocks and reference samplesAccurately measure & examine Concept/Fit/PP/TOP garments from factories into software and prepare for scheduled fittings.Take detailed notes and efficient photos during live and mannequin fit sessionsIdentify construction and workmanship issues and ensure consistent standards are met within each product categoryBe able to make logical and accurate fit corrections and spec revisions via sketches and marked up photos to send to overseas factories. Knowledge of bra and panty grading and be able to communicate with factories via email and PLM system.Possess knowledge of patternmaking and pattern correction, knowledge of foam cup development.Maintain daily entry on sample log in AirTableAbility to adhere to calendar and deadlinesHave strong communication skills, be able to properly communicate and collaborate with vendors, direct team, and cross functional teamsAttention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skillsTrack & Manage samples with factories in additional to all communication.

Qualifications:5+ years’ experience in intimate apparel technical designBachelor’s degree preferredSkilled in Microsoft Excel, Outlook , Airtable and Adobe IllustratorExperience with Centric or similar PLM. 3D pattern experience a plus Browzwear and V-Stitcher.Ability to multitask, have a high sense of urgency and work accurately in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of sewing and factory processes, and clear understanding of fit & gradingExcellent time management & organizational skillsKeen attention to detailTeam player, collaborative attitude

Annual salary range starting at $85,000
