Our client, a children’s apparel manufacturer, is seeking a Production Graphic Colorist to join their New York City based team!
**4 days onsite in NYC.
Responsibilities:Comment on graphic strike-offs, trims, submits, etc.Work with Graphic Artists to ensure artwork follows brand identityCommunicate with cross-functional teams and overseas factories on any color comments or approvals/rejectionsReview strike-off and color submissions and advise on any corrections or approvalsOversee quality testing of graphicsDevelop wash testCreate graphic lab dips chartsUtilize light box to evaluate colorManage artwork updates for PLM, line sheets and style guides
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field3-5 years of relevant experienceExpert in Excel and Adobe skillsMust have knowledge of color theory & matchingAbility to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environmentProactive team player with strong initiativeExcellent written and verbal communication skills
