Our company, Jeffrey Court, is a leader in the tile industry with innovative design and a wide assortment of decorative tile, stone, glass and metal elements. We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team and help expand our brand.
The Graphic Designer will report to the Marketing Manager. This individual will be an integral part in the creative development of branding materials across printed, digital and video mediums.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Graphic Designer’s responsibilities are centered around upholding and creating graphical brand standards, creative design development, and digital production of video projects.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS
· Conceptualize, strategize, and design a wide range of digital and printed marketing and communication materials
· Validate and enforce appropriate use of brand graphics, logos, fonts, and colors on all print and digital materials.
· Product and staged set photography and editing, including color correcting
· Proficiency in all aspects of digital production, including typesetting, layout, image processing, preflight and packaging
· Develop design templates for promotional items, website graphics, brochures, digital advertising, merchandising graphics, video and other materials
· Video Production: Plan, set-up, record, edit, and produce short video projects
· Social media content planning and creation
· Manage and maintain asset library of all photography, video and graphical assets
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
· Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or other related field required
· 2+ years of experience in a graphic design/video production role
· Strong written, interpersonal, and organization skills and the ability to convey ideas clearly
· Effective project management skills, must be able to time manage projects and be mindful of deadlines
· Team player who is willing to take on additional tasks as needed
· Excellent skills in print layout, typography, illustration, photo compositions, and color theory
· Demonstrable experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Final Cut)
· Experience with Microsoft Office
· Experience with Asana and Later, a plus
· A portfolio showing current work samples and copywriting abilities (required)
