Social Content Creator - Independent Contractor Job at Town of Snowmass Village,

The Town of Snowmass Village is seeking a Social Content Creator to work as an independent contractor over the course of the 2024–2025 ski season.

This position is designed to highlight the vibrant community of Snowmass Village through creative, engaging content for social media platforms.

As a Social Content Creator, you will:
- Produce a set of videos and/or photos for use on Snowmass' Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok channels.
- Capture content that aligns with Snowmass Tourism's brand messaging: scenic beauty, access to outdoor activities, nostalgia, welcoming community, and low-key luxury.
- Incorporate current social media trends to maximize brand visibility and relevance.
- Participate in and document Snowmass activities, with access provided complimentary or reimbursed by Snowmass Tourism.
- Deliver completed content (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikToks, or photo selections) within agreed timelines.
- Collaborate with the Snowmass Tourism team to ensure all content aligns with brand goals and standards.

Compensation
- $800–$1,000 per set of 4 finished pieces of content (video or photo), based on experience.
- Content creation and delivery will occur between December 2024 and March 2025.

Ideal Candidate
- Is experienced in photo and video production and proficient in editing.
- Is familiar with Snowmass Village and its unique community.
- Is passionate about activities like skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and exploring the scenic beauty of Snowmass.
- Understands and keeps up with social media trends, especially on TikTok and Instagram.
- Works independently and creatively while being open to collaboration.
- Resides in the Roaring Fork Valley and can reliably work on-site.
