Job Title: UI/UX Designer Location: Westminster, CO - Portland, OR - LA, CA Our Division: Trimble UXAbout the Role As a mid-level UI/UX Designer at Trimble, you will be working on a global team with other junior and senior designers, helping to design an exceptional Next-Generation Subscription and Dealer Portal. You will be leading design activities to craft cross-platform UI/UX for software solutions that support Trimble's dealer partners and customers within our Field Systems sector - translating high-level requirements into engaging user experiences. As the voice and advocate for our customers, you will be using a set of design standards to align the UX/UI of these applications, and will work to improve the usability of the entire workflow. You will research key personas, professional workflows, tasks and goals, and create solutions that transform the way our customers work. What You Will DoWork with PM and other stakeholders to identify UX objectives, including UX research, design vision, and execution planPartner closely with UI/UX team members in Trimble's Digital Transformation (DX) and Platform team to ensure alignment and scalabilityDefine user research plans, and lead all aspects of the researchWork with PM and marketing to recruit end users and execute the research planDefine usability testing plans, for remote or testing in the fieldCreate user personas, customer journeys and task workflowsUtilize an existing design system to align the look and feel of the contributing solutions,Design workflows that optimize the usability of the entire workflow;Usability test design prototypesCreate high fidelity designs and design assetsSupport implementation of high fidelity design by development teamsBecome the local champion and advocate of user experience design and process with the local stakeholdersWhat Skills & Experience You Should HaveAn undergraduate degree in user experience design, human computer interaction, interaction design or the like3+ years of experience as a junior designer and a compelling portfolio to prove itExperience with UX inside an Agile environment (Dual-Track Agile Design)Attention and love for beautiful detailTeam spiritAn eagerness to learn about all things UX/UICapacity to learn by doing, and willingness to accept directionWillingness to contribute your own creativity and originalityFluency with common design products such as Figma and Adobe Creative SuiteExposure to Salesforce and/or Oracle, a plusExposure to accountAbout Your Location This position is preferred to be located at our office in Westminster, CO.
