Job Title: CAD Designer

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil CAD Designer to join our team. As a Civil CAD Designer, you will play a crucial role in the creation and modification of detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering projects. This role requires a strong understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D software and experience in the field of civil engineering or related disciplines.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create and modify detailed drawings, plans, and layouts for civil engineering projects including site development, roadways, utilities, and land development.
  • Collaborate with engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and translate concepts into accurate and precise drawings.
  • Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including plans, profiles, sections, and details.
  • Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Stay updated on the latest AutoCAD Civil 3D tools, techniques, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software is required.
  • Previous experience working as an AutoCAD Technician or similar role in civil engineering or related field.
  • Associate degree or technical certification in drafting, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
