Mechanical Designer 13547 Job at TriMech Services in Eagle Rock

Position Objectives: The mechanical designer provides high-quality design and technical support for die plates and related items, working independently to support customers' pelletizing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review project specifications.
2. Determine necessary items to be ordered.
3. Provide customer CAD sketches and drawings.
4. Meet tight design deadlines and work overtime when required.
5. Lead technical discussions on design issues or proposed changes.
6. Complete CAD models, detail drawings, bills of material, and shop information packets.
7. Ensure digital information is transferred to CNC Programmers.
8. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
9. Prioritize quality, safety, and environmental considerations in all tasks.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Required: Associate’s Degree or higher in mechanical design.
• Preferred: SolidWorks Certification.

Experience:

• Required: 2+ years of mechanical design experience using SOLIDWORKS
• Preferred:
  • Willingness to travel.
